Coyote hunter Kurt Rausch, who has been accused of shooting and killing two dogs, will appear in Dane County court beginning December 19, 2017.  Rausch, while wearing a bright head-lamp, used a calling device to call coyotes.  Veterinarian, Deanna Clark was taking her four dogs for a walk – they started to walk towards the sound.  When he saw two of the dogs, who were wearing reflective vests, he shot them both.  One died right away and the other died a couple of days later.  Initially, Rausch was charged with a felony, but it has since been reduced to a misdemeanor.
