Right now hunters in Wisconsin are massively murdering countless of innocent creatures for fun. The killing contests held around the state are “family” events, getting kids involved with prizes sometimes sponsored by firearm companies. The animals bodies are usually dumped somewhere after the event. This is legal in most states, but it seems to be rampant in Wisconsin.
California, Colorado, Maryland, and Vermont have laws that restrict killing contests. These restrictions vary by state. New Mexico just banned these horrific killing-for-fun contests. Wisconsin can do this too.
What you can do: Wildlife-killing contests can be banned by Wisconsin state legislature. Wisconsin residents, please pressure Governor Evers (608-888-1665) and your Assembly Representatives and Senators to do this ASAP.
