Update on cat killer: Paul A. Greiner, of Portage, Wisconsin who had been charged for baiting, trapping, and killing neighborhood cats got sentenced yesterday, December 3, 2018 to a year in jail. This sentence was “stayed”, which in short, means he doesn’t have to actually serve time. He will do community service, keep taking his meds, stay away from the woman whose yard he put the bodies in, and more. A very disappointing sentencing – feels like a “slap on the wrist” considering how cruel his crimes were. This man baited cats with tuna and then trapped and killed them simply for being cats. Their final day was filled with fear and quite possibly torture. Read more about yesterday’s outcome.
